Age Limit & Educational Qualification (Eligibility)
Age Limit:
As per JPSC/UGC Norms, there is no specified minimum or maximum age limit for applying to the Jharkhand Eligibility Test (JET). Age relaxation applies to reserved categories and government employees as per state rules.
Educational Qualification:
- Master's Degree: Candidates must possess a Master’s Degree (or equivalent) with at least $55\%$ aggregate marks (or $50\%$ for SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates from Jharkhand).
- Candidates appearing in the final year or equivalent semester of a Master's degree are provisionally eligible.
- Ph.D. holders who completed their Master's degree before September 19, 1991, may be eligible for specific mark relaxations as per UGC guidelines.
