Frequently Asked Questions

1. Is it compulsory to do slot booking, or can I wait for the Admit Card?

Slot booking is **mandatory**. If you do not actively choose a slot (Date and Shift) by the last date (15 December 2025), the system will automatically assign one to you. The final Admit Card, released closer to the exam date, will reflect this chosen or auto-allotted slot.

2. When will the final SSC JE Admit Card be available?

The final Admit Card, which includes the exact exam center address, is typically released **4 to 7 days before** your assigned examination date (i.e., around 13-16 January 2026 for the first exam date).

3. Can I change my slot after booking it?

No, once you select and **confirm** a slot, there is usually **no option** to change the date or shift under any circumstances. Candidates are advised to confirm only when they are certain of their choice.

4. What should I do if the slot booking link is not visible for my region?

The slot booking link is activated region-wise. If it's not visible, first ensure you are on the correct **Regional SSC Website**. If the dates are active nationally, contact your regional SSC helpdesk immediately, providing your registration details.

5. What login credentials are required for slot booking?

You need your **Registration ID** (generated during the initial application, typically an 11-digit number) and your **Date of Birth (DOB)** in DD/MM/YYYY format.
